Investors
A patented laminate moving from qualification into volume supply.
Why now
AI infrastructure, electrification and high-performance electronics are increasing demand for PCB materials and capacity, while OEMs are under pressure to cut Scope 3 emissions. FR-4 ties both problems to glass fibre and epoxy. Soluboard® offers a laminate with 68% lower assessed cradle-to-gate CO₂, a separate raw-material supply chain and pricing developed to compete.
How Jiva makes money
Jiva supplies Soluboard® laminate to the PCB value chain. An OEM specifies Soluboard® on its bill of materials; an approved fabricator buys the laminate and manufactures the board for an assembly partner. The model fits existing supply chains, with Jiva supporting customers through design assessment, prototyping, qualification and scale-up.
What protects it
Granted patents in seven markets from patent family WO2018/234801, the Solvanta™ polymer platform, and manufacturing know-how in lamination, material properties and end-of-life separation.
Where we are
Soluboard® is UL 94 V-0 rated and made under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system. Jiva has expanded its production facilities, received a first production order from ICAPE Group, and works with OEMs through programmes including the Amazon Devices Climate Tech Accelerator and Logitech’s Future Positive Challenge.
